Facebook pardon for the Facebook revolution

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi issued a decree of pardon via his Facebook page for all the people arrested during the Egyptian revolution except for those arrested for committing murder. Morsi’s Facebook page has 13,164 likes. Not sure if Egyptians in general are watching his Facebook page for important announcements but news media around the world are highlighting the social nature of the announcement. I think it’s a great way to give a tip of the hat and nod of the finger to the revolution caused by Facebook (which of course is not entirely true).
